Baldwin Park : Mayor Pro Tem Appointed

Martin Gallegos, a chiropractor recently elected to a second term on the Baldwin Park City Council, was named mayor pro tem at Wednesday night’s council meeting.
Gallegos was nominated by Julia S. McNeill, who has served as mayor pro tem for three years.
“It’s time to move the position on to someone else,” McNeill said.
Gallegos will preside over City Council meetings in the absence of newly elected Mayor Fidel Vargas.
