Alhambra : Fire Station Builder Hired
A Downey firm has won a $1.15-million contract from the City Council to construct a fire station on Norwood Place at Elm Street.
Brugman Management and Development was the lowest of 18 bidders, and its bid was almost $150,000 less than was estimated by the architect who designed the fire station, said Claudine Noriega, of the city Public Works Department.
Noriega added that the company has recently built fire stations for Fullerton and Downey.
