Crann’s Departure

I read with deep regret the decision of Tom Crann to leave the station because of virulent attacks on his supposedly “casual” on-air style (“KUSC Deejay Quits, Citing ‘Attacks,’ ” April 30). As an avid listener to KUSC, I have found the upbeat and invigorating voices of both Crann and Bonnie Grice to be a welcome breath of fresh air. I welcome KUSC’s promise to replace Crann with a similarly uplifting on-air personality.
