Finally, the truth is coming out. Philips’ piece set the record straight: The fans are being ripped off.

So what are we going to do about it? Let’s all organize.

I propose a nationwide boycott of all record stores this Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 27-29), traditionally the busiest record-buying period of the year.

That ought to give us enough time to make our agenda known to everyone.

We have the power to make the change. Don’t let the corporate ruling structure fool you.
