SAN DIEGO : Accused Molester Pleads Not Guilty
A man accused of 100 counts of child molestation pleaded not guilty Wednesday and was ordered to stand trial Aug. 19.
James Armagost, 42, of San Diego is charged with molesting a teen-age “household member” for three years beginning in September, 1988, according to Deputy Dist. Atty. David Rubin.
Armagost, who is free on his own recognizance, “went to the Police Department and confessed on tape,” Rubin told Superior Court Judge Frederic L. Link.
Rubin said that, during the trial, he intends to present letters from the female victim “that are pretty explicit.”
