UCSD Is In Fourth Place at NCAA Golf Tournament

After firing a 298 Wednesday, UC San Diego is fourth at 604, nine strokes back of leader Salem (Mass.) State, after two rounds of the NCAA Division III golf championships in Wooster, Ohio.

UCSD, which shot an opening-round 306, is led by Jeremy Moe’s 147. Moe is tied for sixth individually after shooting a second-round 74. The Tritons’ Matt Stottern is ninth at 148 after shooting a second-round 71, Pete Roberts is at 153 and Brock Shafer stands at 156.

The final two rounds will be played today and Friday at Wooster Country Club, a par-72, 6,454-yard course.
