Doctors Galore: Bill Cosby, who played a medical doctor on his hit NBC series and holds a doctorate in education in real life, was in the audience during the weekend to watch as his wife, Camille O. Cosby, received her doctoral degree in education from the University of Massachusetts. Her dissertation was on the influence of television imagery on the self-perception of young African-Americans. Both Cosbys received master’s degrees from the school. Bill Cosby got his doctorate from the university in 1976.
