Deputy Dist. Atty. Gil Garcetti, candidate for Los Angeles County district attorney, will speak today at a Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. general membership meeting. The event is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Beverly Garland Hotel, 4222 Vineland Ave., in North Hollywood. KGIL-AM radio and the Valley Industry and Commerce Assn. will host a Los Angeles County district attorney candidates debate from 7 to 9 a.m. Monday at the Calabasas Inn, 23500 Park Sorrento Drive, Calabasas. The debate will be moderated by John Swaney, host of the “The Breakfast Edition,” and broadcast live on KGIL-AM 1260.
