Curreri, Campaign Posters

Share

This is the most hilarious thing I have heard in months. Dana Point City Councilwoman Judy Curreri gets caught up in her own web. Addison DeBoi gets busted with a back yard full of Ernie Nelson and Bill Ossenmacher’s campaign signs.

DeBoi claims that he was simply trying to tidy up the neighborhood. Please Addison, stop it, if I laugh any harder, my sides will split.

DeBoi is the chairman of the Capistrano Beach Civic Assn., head of Curreri’s reelection committee, and a member of the city traffic commission, appointed by Curreri and the rest of the council. This was not a random act of vandalism. It is a clear case of a political lap dog of the City Council, unfairly trying to sabotage people who do not share his point of view, and that of Curreri.

I am certain that Curreri will disavow any knowledge of DeBoi’s actions. Perhaps this is true. She has also disavowed being in favor of redevelopment, but she voted to retain redevelopment in the general plan.

She says she is in favor of letting the people vote on the general plan, but she voted to appeal the Superior Court order to force the city to do just that.

I feel sorry for Curreri. Her credibility is rapidly disappearing in the mire of such deceptions and dirty tricks.
