Van Nuys Watches ‘Rosie’ Too
I was angered by the slur on Van Nuys (“The Trials of Rosie O’Neill,” CBS, May 9) as the home of “lowlifes.” Besides shoe salesmen, you might be interested to know that Van Nuys is also the home of a city councilman, doctors, lawyers, CPAs, actors, teachers, etc.
As for Sharon Gless, whose work I ordinarily admire, and as a professional woman, it pained me to see her portrayed as a borderline personality.
