Shop Television Network Says NASD Delisted Stock

Share

Shop Television Network Inc. said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that its stock has been delisted by the National Assn. of Securities Dealers for failing to meet all the NASD’s requirements.

The Burbank producer of television shopping programs said it had previously been granted a waiver from the NASD’s new $3-per-share minimum bid price rule. But last month the company was informed that because it didn’t meet the minimum requirements for stock price and public float value--the market value of all shares available for trading by the public--the waiver was terminated and the stock was delisted.

Shop Television’s shares continue to trade on the Vancouver Stock Exchange and the “pink sheets,” the home of smaller, thinly traded over-the-counter stocks.
