No Money Is No Problem: Tired of spending big bucks for car repairs?

BCM Automotive in Costa Mesa has come up with a novel way to do business: Owner Ron Charter takes valuables in trade for service and repair work.

So if $150 for a new water pump is more than you have, Charter will gladly take your TVs, jewelry, antiques, tools, stereos, cameras, firearms, musical instruments, computers, even appliances.

Charter stresses that he is not running a pawnshop. He trades for parts and labor and then resells the items.
