LANCASTER : Driver Killed When His Car Overturns
A 67-year-old Lancaster man was killed Wednesday when his car ran off a road and overturned in the desert, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The man, whose name was not made public pending notification of relatives, was driving east on Avenue G just east of the Antelope Valley Freeway about 12:30 p.m. when he lost control of the car, skidded off the road and overturned in some brush, Deputy Donna Levi said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Levi said, and the cause of the accident was under investigation.
