Rules Now Reversed
Now let me see if I have this straight. According to the lawyer for Damian Williams in the Denny beating, his alleged victims are guilty of “contributory negligence” for letting their heads get in the way of the rioter’s bricks and stones.
And in the same day’s Times, I read that the police in the earlier McDonald’s shooting, violated the robber’s civil rights by shooting them.
I feel as if I dozed off somewhere along the line and woke up in the Twilight Zone, with all the rules reversed.
