Chief Gates’ Outburst
Just when we think Chief Daryl Gates has sunk to his lowest level of immature, arrogant behavior, he surprises us by sinking even lower (June 6-9). His latest blowhard threat to stay in office and then his recanting . . . this man never ceases to amaze me!
Whatever happened to “protect and serve,” the motto of the Police Department? Gates is interested only in protecting his own ego and serving his own self-interests!
