For the second time in as many weeks, the Grove Shakespeare Festival is looking for a director to stage “The Merry Wives of Windsor.” Gloria Skursky has withdrawn after she was hired to direct it by her husband, Grove chief Stuart McDowell. “She has to leave town on family matters,” McDowell said Thursday. Originally, McDowell himself was to have directed, then chose his wife after he withdrew. He said a new director “will be named imminently.”
