Carolco Pictures Inc. announced that William A. Shpall has been appointed chief financial officer.
Shpall succeeds Louis Weiss, who resigned to pursue other interests. Shpall joined Carolco in May as an executive vice president.
Carolco owns a 53% voting interest in Live Entertainment Inc., a diversified entertainment software supplier, distributor and retailer with headquarters in Los Angeles.
