MINIATURE GOLFERS: Golf magazine this month was wowed by what’s coming up at the Lake Forest Golf & Practice Center: on-site day care. Says the magazine: “Why hasn’t anybody thought of this before?” Ken Guerra says officials of the nine-hole executive course came up with the idea “as part of our commitment to women in golf.”. . . It opens in three weeks. For a nominal charge, the course will plan activities for children six months to 5 years while their parents play.
