Share

The La Habra City School District invites kids to lunch this summer under a federally funded program designed to assist low-income children.

The Summer Food Service program, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, offers healthy lunches to kids age 18 and under free of charge. Registration is not required under the program, which runs today through Aug. 14, enabling children to drop in at any one of the three participating schools providing the midday meals.

Lunch is served weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Washington Middle School, 716 E. La Habra Blvd.; Las Lomas Elementary School, 301 W. Las Lomas Drive; and Walnut Elementary School, 625 N. Walnut St.
