Music Makers: Branford Marsalis will appear at Lunaria in West Los Angeles tonight, his first scheduled Southern California nightclub appearance since he became musical director of “The Tonight Show” a month ago. The saxophonist will lead his trio, with bassist Robert Hurst and drummer Jeff Watts, in the 9 p.m. show.
