Annual Gay Pride Parade Is Today
The 23rd annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade is scheduled to begin this morning at 11 as the highlight of a two-day festival in West Hollywood.
The parade, which was first held on Hollywood Boulevard in 1970, will begin at Santa Monica and Crescent Heights boulevards and continue down Santa Monica to the festival site at the Pacific Design Center.
Honorary parade marshals this year are Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick Sargent, best known as the stars of the television show “Bewitched.”
