GOP Leaders List High-Ranking Women

Eileen Padberg’s complaint (“Criticism for Fuentes, Dornan,” Letters, June 21) is that the Republican Party in Orange County is dominated by a few men who control the political scene in Orange County. That is not necessarily bad if all the elements of the party are given a voice.

(Judith) Ryan’s and Padberg’s views on abortion are rejected because they do not conform to the principles of the Republican Party, which, above all, uphold the Judeo-Christian law. The basis of that law is the Ten Commandments, which state explicitly “You will not kill,” which includes the unborn baby in the womb.

Finally, Congressman (Robert K.) Dornan is not a bully, as Padberg asserts. Rather, he is a man of the highest virtues and is well loved by his constituents, which include women.
