Ernie Irvan started 22nd and won the Fay’s 150 NASCAR Busch Grand National Series road race at Watkins Glen International in Upstate New York.
Irvan, a regular in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, earned $18,650 for his second consecutive victory on a road course. The Chevrolet driver won the Winston Cup race at Sears Point International Raceway in Sonoma, Calif., on June 7.
Todd Bodine finished second, following Irvan across the line as the race ended under a caution flag.
