‘Celebration of Life’ Set For Nick Williams
An informal public “celebration of life” for Nick B. Williams, retired editor of The Times, is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday in the Garden Room of the Center Club, 650 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa.
Williams, 85, who was editor of The Times for 13 years, died Wednesday at South Coast Medical Center, South Laguna, of complications of lung disease.
His widow and four children have asked that any memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation of Orange County, 2540-A N. Santiago Blvd., Orange, Calif. 92667.
