A misting rain produced treacherous conditions at Saugus Speedway, forcing officials to call off the track’s Saturday night program as the 40-lap NASCAR Sportsman main event was getting under way. Earlier in the evening, two cars hit a wall in separate incidents, producing injuries that sent one driver to the hospital.
