The Dodgers will play 74 games after the All-Star break, beginning with a 13-game trip that starts at Philadelphia Thursday. The next time the Dodgers play at home will be July 30, when they begin a four-day series against San Diego.

The Dodgers, who were hoping to have a better record than 12-10 on the homestand that ended Sunday, have 43 games to play on the road where they have a record of 13-25. They trail first-place Cincinnati by 13 games.

“It’s not as easy as some tended to make it sound coming into this 22-game home stand hoping to gain ground, because we have a lot of ground to make up,” said Eric Karros, who finished the first half hitting .259 with 10 home runs and 33 RBI. “Cincinnati and Atlanta have been playing great and we have to hope they get into a spell like we did (on the 1-10 road trip) so we can try and get back in it.”
