Share

The director of a North Hollywood homeless shelter will discuss what residents can do to help the homeless at a meeting tonight of the Studio City Residents Assn.

Michael Childress, who runs the nonprofit Trudy and Norman Louis Valley Shelter, said he will speak about services the shelter offers and how residents can support the shelter. He also will offer suggestions on how to refer the homeless to agencies that can help them.

“We want to find out what we specifically can do,” association president Tony Lucente said about homelessness. “It’s confronting us every day.”
