Cancer Detected: Singer Olivia Newton-John, 43, has breast cancer, but it was detected early and doctors expect her to make a full recovery, her publicist said Tuesday. Newton-John said she went public with the information to prevent it from first appearing in tabloids. An August tour that was to follow the recent release of her “Back to Basics” album will be postponed, but the singer said she hopes to reschedule it shortly.
