Bush Vetoes Motor-Voter Bill
George Bush has, finally, done something that I agree with. He is against, it would seem, handing the franchise to vote to anyone just because he/she is legally entitled to drive a car.
I totally agree with President Bush on his veto of the “motor-voter” bill for two reasons:
-- Anyone whose only political impute comes from the comics or the sports section should not be allowed to vote.
-- There are a lot of people, driving around, out there that shouldn’t be allowed to drive--let alone vote.
Believe me--I’m out there all day, everyday.
