San Diego : Firefighters Stop 10-Acre Brush Fire
Firefighters battled a 10-acre brush fire, quelling the flames in 45 minutes Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The blaze started about 4 p.m. and burned across the parched land at Black Mountain Road and Artesian Road, west of Rancho Bernardo, said dispatcher Sherry Darrah of the San Diego Fire Department. No injuries were reported and no buildings were damaged in the grass fire.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
