ROAD NOTES
Caltrans has approved $660,000 to strengthen the Pomona Freeway (60) bridge at the San Gabriel River Freeway (605). The work will include seismic retrofitting of the columns and footing.
Here are some closures Caltrans plans on area freeways this week:
Two lanes of the westbound San Bernardino Freeway (10) will be closed today in El Monte at the Rio Hondo River Bridge from 6 to 11 a.m.
One lane of the eastbound and westbound San Bernardino Freeway (10) will be closed today in Pomona from Fairplex Drive to Dudley Street from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Orange Grove Avenue on-ramp to the southbound Pasadena Freeway (110) will be closed Monday in South Pasadena from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
One lane of the southbound Pasadena Freeway (110) will be closed Tuesday in South Pasadena from Meridian Avenue to the Orange Grove Avenue off-ramp from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The southbound Vincent Avenue on-ramp to the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway (10) will be closed Thursday in West Covina from 9 to 11 a.m.
