Share

The Raiders signed free-agent running back Terrence Flagler Sunday. Flagler, the San Francisco 49ers’ first-round draft pick in 1987, spent two seasons in San Francisco before being traded to the Dallas Cowboys.

Released by the Cowboys during training camp in 1990, Flagler signed with the Phoenix Cardinals, where he spent 1 1/2 seasons before being released.

“He had a lot of speed and he had pretty good hands coming out of college,” Coach Art Shell said. “He must have had something if the 49ers drafted him. We liked him coming out of college.”
