Light Of Morn Wins Hollywood Park Feature
Favored Light Of Morn took the early lead and held off Regal Groom to win Wednesday’s $55,000 feature race for three-year-olds and up at Hollywood Park.
Light Of Morn finished a neck in front of Regal Groom, who was just off the lead most of the race. Stalwart Charger finished third, two lengths behind.
Light Of Morn, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and trained by Rodney Rash, covered the 7 1/2 furlongs in 1:28 1/5.
The winner returned $6.60, $3.60 and $2.60. Regal Groom, ridden by Laffit Pincay, paid $5.20. Stalwart Charger, ridden by Alex Solis, returned $3.
Delahoussaye won with his first three mounts of the day--Iron Traveller and favorites Master Lypheor and Golden Find--and then with Light Of Morn.
