Actor Paul Newman walked away unhurt after crashing during the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge at Lakeville, Conn.
Newman was running second 12 laps into the race when he lost control of his car after the rear left tire slid into the dirt. Newman spun and the back of his car rammed a tire barrier.
Track officials said Newman was examined by medical staff.
