Chatsworth : Hiker Finds Body of Shooting Victim
The body of a shooting victim was discovered by a hiker on a dirt trail in the Santa Susana Pass, police said Wednesday.
The unindentified man, who appeared to be 35 or 40 years old, was found at 7 p.m.Tuesday about 100 yards up a trail that starts at Santa Susana Pass Road near Rocky Peak, Los Angeles Police Detective Bernadette Cherry said.
Cherry said the man had been shot several times in the upper body.
It was unclear how long ago he had died.
Cherry said it was also uncertain whether the man was shot on the trail or had been dumped there after he died.
