PALA : Cement Truck Flips on California 76
A fully loaded cement truck flipped on California 76 Friday, stopping traffic and closing the highway in Pala for four hours, as work crews righted the vehicle.
The accident occurred about 7:30 a.m. about 1 mile east of Rice Canyon Road, CHP Officer Phil Konstantin said.
The truck driver, Walter Riebau, was taken to Palomar Medical Center and treated for minor injuries, said Renee Batiste, a hospital spokeswoman.
