Randy Klose, 37, Beverly Hills developer who became an ardent AIDS activist. Klose worked on the board of directors of the Gay and Lesbian Community Services Center of Los Angeles and later moved East to work in national organizations. At the time of his death, he was co-chairman of the board of the Human Rights Campaign Fund. On June 1, 1987, Klose was among those arrested at a White House demonstration protesting presidential silence on AIDS. He contributed much of his own wealth to gay and lesbian groups.
