OCEANSIDE : 1 Dead in Crash With Firetruck

An Oceanside woman was killed in a collision with a firetruck Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Krishna Angelic Porter, 19, was driving west on Mission Avenue and veering into the eastbound lane while a firetruck was approaching at 2:17 p.m., authorities said.
Porter, who lived in the 4000 block of Johnathan Street with her parents, had two children in the car. It was not known Thursday night if they were hurt.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
