Nickelodeon to Test New Cable TV Channels: Children’s cable TV network Nickelodeon said it will begin testing several different new cable channels based around its popular programming segments such as “Nick at Night” and “Nick Jr.” Nickelodeon recently acquired new program libraries from Henson Productions and MTM Entertainment. Testing will be done on cable TV systems owned by Viacom International, which also owns Nickelodeon.
