Bogus $100 Bills Seized

CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico — Police here have issued a national alert after seizing $300 million in counterfeit U.S. $100 bills and arresting two men in Ciudad Juarez, across the border from El Paso, Tex., the newspaper Excelsior reported Friday. Police said they feared that up to $500,000 in false U.S. currency may already have been put into circulation by the pair.
