Show Some Discretion
In your Aug. 11 edition, you reported the tragic death of a young man at a water hole in the Thousand Oaks area. After giving an account of the accident, and interviews with several “officials” and fellow rock divers, you go into a picturesque description of the spot.
The place sounds so idyllic, adventurous and fun, I would be greatly surprised if it is not mobbed by children and young adults. Hell, I was even tempted.
Please, show some discretion in your reporting. There is a difference between the public’s right to know and encouraging kids to do something dangerous.
