SANTA ANA : Candidates’ Forum to Take Place Sept. 27
Community leaders will hold a forum for City Council candidates Sept. 27.
“It’s just to let people know what the candidates stand for, so they can make a more informed decision when they go to the polls,” said community activist Kathi Jo Brunning, who is helping to coordinate the event. “I hope people will bring questions and learn more about local politics.”
Thirteen candidates are competing for four seats on the council.
The forum and an ice cream social will be at Isaak Walton Clubhouse, 1714 W. Santa Clara Ave., from 2 to 5 p.m. Spanish-language translators will be available.
