Saturday’s game had a four-hour time limit, with no inning beginning later than 3 p.m. CDT, to accommodate Metrodome personnel converting the stadium to football for the 7 p.m. University of Minnesota-San Jose State game. The game took 2:28.

Angel reliever Joe Grahe gave up hits to all four batters he faced in the eighth inning Saturday, giving up two runs. It was the first time in his last 34 appearances that he had given up more than one run. . . . The cumulative average of all Angels batting in the cleanup spot this season is .199, the lowest of any position in the batting order.
