An unemployed La Jolla landscaper was in custody Tuesday in connection with the robbery of the La Jolla Shores branch of Union Bank.
Michael Kim Hujsak, 38, was arrested in the 4900 block of South Crest Road in San Diego about 6 p.m. Monday, said William J. Esposito, FBI special agent in charge of the San Diego Bank Robbery Task Force. The task force is made up of FBI agents and San Diego police detectives.
Hujsak, described as a longtime La Jolla resident, presented a teller with a demand note that “threatened a weapon,” Esposito said.
