Former Fast-Food Restaurant Torched
WESTMINSTER —
An arsonist torched an abandoned fast-food restaurant Thursday afternoon, causing an estimated $250,000 damage, fire officials said.
More than 30 firefighters battled the fire at Carl’s Jr. restaurant at 13640 Golden West St. for 20 minutes, said Westminster Fire Capt. Craig Campbell.
No one was injured in the 4:40 p.m. blaze and no one has been arrested, Campbell said. Campbell said the restaurant was boarded up, but that food preparation equipment was inside.
