Rice quarterback Josh LaRocca has a broken collarbone and will be sidelined indefinitely, the school said Sunday.
LaRocca, a sophomore who started the Owls’ first two games, suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Rice’s 17-12 loss to Duke on Saturday night.
He will likely be replaced by junior transfer Bert Emanuel.
