ARLETA : $25,000 Reward Offered in Killing

The Los Angeles City Council approved a $25,000 award Tuesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman who killed an Arleta woman in her driveway.

Azucena Tolentino, 51, was shot to death Aug. 6 in her car, parked in the driveway of her home on Reliance Street near Canterbury Avenue, said David Mays, chief deputy for Los Angeles City Councilman Ernani Bernardi. Tolentino had just arrived home from her job in Reseda when she was shot about 3:30 a.m.
