La Puente : Condo Complex Approved

A zoning change allowing an 11-unit condominium complex to be built on a site containing three houses will take effect in 28 days.
In a 3-1 vote Tuesday, the City Council granted final approval to the plan allowing multiple-family housing to be built on two adjoining lots in the 15700 block of Fairgrove Avenue that had been zoned for single-family housing.
At a meeting earlier this month, several residents complained that the added units would increase traffic and crime.
