Bickering Over Presidential Debates

Regardless of the outcome of this election, there have already been major victories for those of us concerned with liberty and justice for all. Recent polls resoundingly prove that the Republicans made a big mistake by courting the fundamentalists and now Bush and Quayle are backpedaling as fast as they can. The intolerance espoused by Patrick Buchanan, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell ultimately turned off the educated sector of the American population and did more harm than good for Bush’s reelection bid. Personally, these poll results have restored my faith in my fellow Americans.
