SAN DIEGO : 2 Seized in Chase Held for Robbery

Two men were arrested in the armed robbery of a San Diego man following a police chase Saturday night, authorities said.
Jose Prieto, 27, and Francisco Velasco, 24, were arrested and jailed on charges of armed robbery and auto theft, police said.
John Horton, 22, was standing beside his pickup at 12:36 a.m. in the 2600 block of National Avenue when two men threatened him at knifepoint and demanded his valuables, including the keys to his pickup.
As they drove off in the 1992 Nissan truck, Horton flagged down a traffic police car that pursued the men to Euclid and Church streets. There, the men abandoned the truck and attempted to flee on foot, but were apprehended.
